SafeGait 360° Balance and Mobility Trainer

The SafeGait™ 360° Balance and Mobility Trainer is a ceiling-mounted, dynamic body-weight support system. SafeGait™ features proprietary Dynamic Fall Protection (DFP) as its primary mode of fall protection and Descent Limit (DL) as its secondary mode. It is designed to protect patients and therapists during standing, sitting, stair and floor tasks. Fall protections allow patients to "fail safely" and enable protected patient-driven recovery and self-correction. SafeGait™ features multiple track configurations and proprietary software that tracks meaningful patient data by Session and TASK in real time. SafeGait™ is designed to facilitate one-on-one treatment sessions, reduce risk of injury to patients and therapists, simulate everyday activities, and allow historical performance data to be collected and compared by Session and TASK. The software also features a Task-Specific Training Library that allows therapists to customize a patient’s Plan of Care, as well as goal settings to challenge patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, neurodegenerative disease, and amputations.
